AgentRadar FAQ
How the observation works, which agents are covered, and what the free version keeps.
How does AgentRadar watch agents without injecting anything?
AgentRadar only reads the session records that agents already save on your Mac. It never modifies them, needs no account and uploads nothing. The built-in Checkup shows, for each agent, whether it was found, which fields were read and what went wrong.
Which AI agents are supported?
15 agents today: Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, Cursor CLI, GitHub Copilot (VS Code), GitHub Copilot CLI, Gemini CLI, Qwen Code, Kimi (desktop), WorkBuddy, Hermes, OpenCode, Goose, Pi and DeepSeek Harness. Power users can also import a JSON profile to add other agents themselves.
What is free, and what does Pro add?
Free keeps live status, needs-you notifications, today's usage and cost estimate, 7 days of session history and Checkup, with 3 sessions shown at a time and the ones waiting for you first. Pro is a one-time purchase, no subscription: all sessions at once, usage stats for the last 7, 30 or 90 days, 90 days of history, CSV export, daily budget alerts and custom agent profiles. Family Sharing is supported.
Is a hook required?
No. Everything works without a hook. The optional hook only makes the "Needs you" detection more precise; without it that one signal is a heuristic, while statuses like working, done and token usage are read exactly.
Does AgentRadar send my data anywhere?
No. AgentRadar needs no account, runs entirely on your Mac and uploads nothing. It reads local session records and nothing else.
What are the system requirements?
macOS 13.0 or later, distributed on the Mac App Store. If you have no agents installed yet, Demo Mode in Settings → General lets you explore the panel with built-in sample data.
How are token costs estimated?
Costs are estimated in US dollars from public model prices, and you can add or edit the prices yourself. Usage is broken down by agent, project and model, with daily trends, top projects, model mix and an activity heatmap.
